Coburn’s is actively seeking an Electrical Outside Salesperson to join our team! This position is located at Spring Hill Lighting in Mobile, Alabama.

Summary

The Electrical Outside Salesperson is responsible for increasing sales and profit through the acquisition and development of new business, maintaining existing business and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma AND at least 1 year of experience in electrical sales or the electrical industry
  • Minimum age of 21 years old
  • Maintain a valid Drug License
  • Ability to pass company required drug screen and physical
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Ability to read a map and/or follow directions
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred

Responsibilities

  • Obtain feedback from the prospect to negotiate and overcome objections and to create a position to ask for the business.
  • Increase sales volume and profit by acquiring new accounts
  • Identify prospective customers by researching leads
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service
  • Introduce new products and increase customer sales volumes
  • Coordinate and/or create complete job quotes, then follow-up with customer regarding the acceptance of the quote, shipment schedule and required delivery dates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating & responding to customer needs, through appropriate follow-up, timely delivery, and offering solutions and alternatives to meet customer’s requests.
  • Meet and coordinate with the customer to forecast upcoming projects and goals and communicate the ways that Coburn’s can help meet their needs.
  • Set itineraries and document sales calls or customer visits to ensure contact is made on a regular basis with all prospects and customers to be referenced prior to the next visit
