Quality Controls is responsible for initiating and completing routine aspects of quality control assignments. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. ... Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products. This position supports various size projects. Using prescribed methods and tools, the position is responsible for performing primary aspects of project controls assignments. The position is considered a support position and requires college level reasoning via formal education or work experience. It requires working knowledge to proficient use, understanding and application of quality control principles and associated software tools.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

Quality control inspectors typically do the following: Read blueprints and specifications. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. Perform Change Control: The quality control manager position develops, implements and manages quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications (consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals).

Project Controls Benchmarking:  Construction Quality Control Managers are responsible for ensuring that all quality control tasks are carried out, documenting the construction process and inspecting each stage of construction. ... They must balance quality control standards, productivity and be cognizant of scheduling demands.
​Effective Team Participation: The manager must maintain effective relationships with customers while supporting the resolution of quality issues and completing assignments (proposals, project tasks, reports, etc.) as negotiated.
