We have immediate openings for Ship Fitters with Aluminum experience doing repair work.

Work is in Mobile, AL. <big></b><br>


Ship Fitter Job Overview:

The Shipfitters will be responsible for assembling and erecting structural steel during various stages of ship hull construction. The shipfitters will also build all interior structures such as hatches, doors, and bulkheads to complete all the steel work in the ship. All ship fitters will be working 4 x 10s and 2 x 8s, working 56 hours a week.

<br><u><b> Ship Fitter Applicant Requirements:

Must have at least 5 years of recent field experience as an aluminum shipfitter in a shipyard

Must be able to read blueprints, do layouts, and tack weld

Must be able to fabricate metal structural parts, components and entire structures

Must be able to layout, burn and prepare plate and pipe for installation

Must have experience with aluminum

Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Must have a current resume
